Valentine's Day Surprise

James smiled as he waited for her to awaken. He knew she would be surprised. It had taken him days to arrange this and he laughed at the cleaning staff's insistence that it only be one room this time. He decided to be nice and used all the flowers to decorate the bedroom. The sweet smell of the roses filled the room as he sat at the foot of the bed, watching as she began to wake. He hit play on the CD as she began to stir.

She felt her body slowly come alive, small sparks of electricity and life hitting her fingers, arms, legs, slowly stirring her awake. It was like waking from a very hard sleep, only she didn't sleep. She was dead....for half the day. It was weird. She opened her eyes and stretched her body, her back arching as she moaned softly. She sat up and came face to face with James sitting at the end of her bed. She grinned and held the sheet to her chest, pulling some of her loose hair behind her ear.

"Hi..." She said softly and watched him with a smile that never left her face.

He began to sing along with the CD, smiling and looking into her eyes. As he did, he stood, walking around the bed to her side and sat down next to her. As the music ended, he leaned in and kissed her.

"Happy Valentine's day, Jessica."

She had nearly forgot it was Valentine's day and gasped. Smiling as he kissed her, she kissed him back and wrapped her arms around him tightly. "Happy Valentine's Day to you too....I think I really would have liked the seventies...if they were this romantic all the time. You don't get that much these days."

She moved to sit on his lap, straddling him as he sat on the bed. "I didn't remember it was today and with everything going on....I've been so busy....but I do have something...maybe...kinda..." She grinned.

He smiled when she sat in his lap. He kissed her again and grinned.

"All you have to do is be here with me, Jessica. I could not ask for a better gift."

She smiled at that and shook her head slowly. "What will I do with you James Covington? Oh that's right, love you....and kiss you....and drive you crazy...." She said each thing as she pushed him to his back on the bed and ran her hands down his chest playfully. "I can only imagine you have something up your own sleeve...." She said with a small giggle and played with his shirt.

He grinned, looking around at the room filled with roses.

"I might have thought of a thing or two..."

She was so caught up in him, she hadn't even registered the scent that was heady in the room. It went to show when her mind was on him, nothing else mattered. She looked around and took notice of all the roses covering her room. Her mouth fell open and she moved from his lap, giggling as she lifted some rose petals from the floor, tossing them up and letting them rain down on her. She spun in a circle and closed her eyes, inhaling the sweet smells around her.

He grinned as she spun around.

"I take it you like my surprise?"

She smiled and nodded, "I really do. I always do. You never fail to leave me speechless and...happy. Really happy." Picking up more of the petals into her palm, she held them at face level and blew them towards him. They flew and floated down on his lap.

He smiled, then the smiled faded and he looked serious for a minute.

"Jessica....do you remember when I went to talk to Sam the other night? Well...he said I can't wash dished there anymore..."

He paused to let her get the wrong idea...then grinned again...

"He made me head of security for the bar."

She stopped smiling and her shoulders shrugged, "I'm so sorry I didn't think he'd--" Her words were cut off when he smiled and added that Sam had made him head of security. She narrowed her eyes at him and sped over to him, knocking him back on the bed and playfully swatting his arm. "Damn you! That's not fair..." She pouted.

"But I am happy for you....I can't wait to see you in uniform." She grinned with a wiggle of her brows.

He laughed and pulled her down on the bed with him.

"I was going to talk to Bill about the new place, but when I talked to the guards they said Bill is busy for tonight, so we have the night to ourselves...what ever will we find to pass the time?"

She giggled and was rolled to her back, a devious look on her face as she tapped her fingernail against her tooth. "Hmm, you're right...whatever shall we do?" Pushing forward, she rolled him back to his back and held his wrists down on the bed. Kissing his bottom lip, she tugged slightly and looked into his eyes. "I remember our lessons....maybe I can show you what I've learned?"

He grinned mischievously at her and whispered.

"I thought you might have something like that in mind...should I get undressed or would you prefer to do the honors?"

She grinned and bit her bottom lip, ripping his shirt open and dipping her head low to place kisses across his skin. The basics....touch. She remembered writhing in pleasure beneath his tongue and the evil but delicious things it did to her body, now it was time to show the teacher the student was listening. She had a lot in mind for him tonight...this one would be an oral exam, which she was sure to pass with flying colors....
