{He toed his work boots off and left them by the door. He had used Sam's shower before coming home, knowing that he needed to stop avoiding her. Sam gave him some insight to what he needed to do and that he needed to man up and face the issues. The biggest thing that pissed him off was the fact that she had
his blood, coursing through her veins. He hated that. Part of him didn't want to touch her until the blood was gone and out of her system. His wolf senses could detect it was slowly leaving her body.
He looked up the stairs as he took off his jacket and hung it up, running his hands through his now short hair again. Hearing sounds from the tv upstairs, he knew she might be awake. It was now or never. Three days of not really speaking had taken its toll. He missed her, he wanted to hold her, kiss her, make love to her. But he was still scorned. Start fresh, just like his hair cut. He needed to start fresh. This was the first step.
He climbed the stairs and moved to the door, leaning his back against the doorframe. Turning his head to look at her, he crossed his arms over his chest. She was nestled in bed, eating ice cream. He inhaled and smelled traces of vampire, but knew he had to stay calm. He had to fix this.}
"Hey." {He spoke, not really knowing what to say or how to start.}
