She could feel the tension growing and knew that Violet was ten seconds away from ripping her to shreds. There was no way she could fight such an old vampire and she knew it. Why did she care? Jason was no longer hers. Even after he'd confessed to screwing up and really loving her...she dismissed it because it still hurt deep. Part of her still cared for him, he was, after all, a friend. She sighed and knew it was none of her business. Holding her hands up in surrender, she stepped back.
"I don't know, you're right. But Jason's a friend and I'll always want to protect him. Just...treat him right." Jason began to plead about being friends. Yeah, like that was going to happen. The words he spoke hurt...Quinn..or James...it was like salt to an open wound. She just nodded and stepped back again.
"I'm uh..sorry I brought it up. I'll leave you two alone. Have a nice life, Jason." She turned to leave, feeling like she'd been punched in the gut.
