Memories Past and Future Empty Memories Past and Future

Walking into Fangtasia, Willa looked around curiously. She hadn't been in this place since she had been turned by Eric. Looking around, she envisioned seeing humans and vampires alike dancing around, drinking and simply having fun. She smiled slightly as she imagined Tara sitting on the throne, watching the crowd and making sure that nobody out out of line and Brianna tending bar. Feeling the excitement begin to bubble up until she turned and saw it.

The table where he had sat with Eric the night that he had taken her from her home. That night seemed like it had been so long ago but she still remembered it as if it was happening before her eyes. She had told Eric about the vampire camps of her father's partly to help but also to postpone her death. Little did she know, at that time, that later she would agree to allow Eric to kill her and bring her back as his progeny. She watched as Eric dropped his fangs, in an effort to scare her into giving him the location of the camp; information that she didn't have at the time. She turned to see Pam and Tara coming into the room, after packing everything that they could find in a box. Pam begged Eric to kill her and Tara entreated for him to send her back home. In the end, she watched as Eric placed a piece of tape over her mouth and drug her with them; meaning to use her as leverage.

Blinking back tears, she walked through the building until she finally came upon what could only be Eric's office. Looking around in awe, she gently touched the space that was filled with now broken items that he has once owned and valued. Some of these artifacts seemed to be as old as he was. Sitting in the chair, she felt her body begin to shudder and convulse as her sobs overtook her. Folding her arms on the desk, she laid her head down and cried uncontrollably until she had no strength to continue. Sitting up, she wiped at the blood that had dripped down her face and onto the desk top.

Her grief was still there, magnified because of the blood bond she had once shared with the tall viking that had born her into a new life. She missed Eric more than she had ever missed anyone else that she had lost. Swiveling in the chair, she smiled as she thought once again how great Fangtasia would be once she and Tara had gotten it running once again. Eric would be proud. Wherever he was, he would definitely be proud.
