Brianna's arms stretched above her head as she could feel that the sun had set now beyond the clouds an hour or so ago, wanting to enjoy this time that she could pretend as though she was human, even for a moment. As her eye lids fluttered open as she could not help fight the smirk that spread across her face. Turning her head to her side as sat up swiftly to see that he was gone. She could still smell his scent swimming around her as she remembered back to the night before.
Without stopping herself from giggling like a school girl as she thought back to the previous night, she had arrived home from Fangtasia after a thorough discussion with Bill, he and Kiara were taking a few weeks trip to some place that she could not remember the name off...But right now she did not care.
"John?" she called out.
When she heard no reply her heart sunk, he had gone.
He never did tell her where he went on the evenings, and she did not want to ask. She was to preoccupied with what he could do to her rather than ask where he was. All she cared about was why he disappeared and not without a word. Casting a glance to his pillow as she spotted something that she did not see before;
Raising the delicate red rose to her nose and she could smell the aromatic scent of him mixed in with the sweet aroma of the rose, if she could blush by now she would have done. It was something that she was not expecting to see, but she knew that he would be back....He always did, and this time she would be ready for him...She would be prepared for his return.
And she would make sure that she spent the night reminding him why he always came back.
