Hoyt couldn't do it.
He had tried to speak to Amy about returning to Bon Temps to see his mama, but he couldn't build up the courage to tell her. He had promised her that he would never put her or the boys in danger, but by going back there he was rolling out the red carpet for the vampires to come straight to his family. He knew his mama would not give up about seeing him, she had called several times and left numerous voice mails asking why he wasn't picking up or why he hadn't called. He had been avoiding her. Amy had noticed that something was up, although she had questioned him he could see it in her eyes that she wanted to ask.
There was only one option that he was left with, glancing around the corner he could see Amy indulging the boys with some sort of building blocks that they had bought recently at the store. Closing the door as he pulled out his cell and hit dial as it connected him to the last person that he thought he would ever ask for help.
"Cael....I have a problem...."
