Unexpected Surprises

Isabel had never felt like this before, she felt like she had been hit by a truck over and over again. She would have been willing to stand in the rays of the sun rather than feeling like this. The last thing that she remembered was being on the plane in Shreveport, but now she could not figure out where she was. Her hand slowly reached out to feel out her surroundings only to feel cool concrete beneath her fingertips. Inch by inch she reached out further as she cried out as her hand grabbed hold of something silver as she instantly withdrew her hand and recoiled from the silver. Hissing and grunting as her body had already begun to slowly heal itself as she tried to gather what strength she had within herself to push her body to her knees.

But every inch of her body ached as though she had been drained of every inch of blood. Her eyes were blurry as she tried to figure out where she was. Turning her head to the side she was met with what looked like a silver cage. Great, that was all she needed right now. Compton had caught her off guard and now she was in some basement blocked off from her freedom. Raising her head from the ground as she could just about make out a dark figure who even for her vampire sight was blurry.

"....Such a weak move Compton" she grumbled as she didn't fight the weakness of her own body as she rolled onto her back, her head slightly swaying from side to side.

Hugo smirked as he watched as the infection took hold of the woman that he had once loved. The woman who had stolen his heart, had promised him forever only for her to go back on her many promises and sell him out. True he had gone to the Fellowship of the Sun and offered Steve Newlin a trade - he would get them the vampire that they needed for their sun sacrifice if they would help him banish the thought about being a vampire. But they had betrayed him, Sarah and Steve betrayed him. They had used him like Isabel had used him. He watched as he sat on a chair opposite the cage that contained Isabel, a replica of the one that he and the girl Sookie Stackhouse had been locked in under the church in Texas.

He was going to enjoy every single moment of this, he would make her suffer like he had suffered. Banished from Texas like some petty criminal that he knew he wasn't. On the run for his life, but no more. He was stronger, faster and far more hungrier than he ever believed that he could be. Although he did not know the name of the vampire that had created him, he would eternally by grateful for the release he experience as he woke up beneath the dirt.

Smirking as Hugo heard her call out Compton's name, oh she wished that it would have been him, the plans that he had install for her.

"Oh Isabel...You wish it was Compton. But he couldn't be here today. He sends his regards though" he chuckled.

Isabel had given up. Her body was far to weak to do anything at all, every inch of her body ached and burned at something coursed through her veins. She slowly raised her head to see a blurry vision of a figure as she heard a voice that she recognised instantly as a smirk spread across her face.

"Hugo....I should have guessed. That aftershave still lives on" she grumbled.

Forcing herself to continue her gaze at him as he slowly came into sight.

Hugo chuckled to himself at seeing Isabel so weak and defenceless and at his mercy. He wanted to make her suffer for all the pain that she had put him though. She had abandoned him when she claimed to love him, she did not fight for him when she promised to always be by his side. His love had turned into hate and he had directed that hate at Isabel. He had been waiting for the perfect moment for his vengeance - and now he was getting it.

"Oh Isabel...You have no idea how good you look...Reminds me of old times. But this time. I am in charge" he smirked.

Isabel heard his words but they did nothing to her. Laughter radiated from her lips as she let her body roll back and forth on the spot as she tried to gather momentum to move to a more suitable position.

"Times have changed Hugo....What do you want? For me to apologize? Forget it. You betrayed me and you sold us out to the Fellowship....You are nothing to me" she chuckled.

Her body began jerking involuntary as she groaned and hissed out as her hand cupped her throat as she felt something begin rising from her stomach as she vomited blood all over the concrete floor. A burning sensation locked around her body as she bit back a scream.

"...What is this....This deception?" she hissed.

Hugo knew exactly what Isabel meant when she asked of this deception. Hugo stood from his seat as he walked towards the cage and bent down so that he could look into her cold and heart-less eyes. 

"Oh this isn't deception Isabel...It's payback...And you can thank Compton for your new lair. I hear Hep D can be quite dangerous to vampires, makes them weak and easy to kill. Of course it is harmless to humans...But you already knew that didn't you" he smirked.

His debt to Compton had been paid in full. He would see this through until the very end.

Compton? The pompous ass King Compton was working with Hugo. She should have expected something like this from Compton. But she never truly believed that he had the brains for something like this. Isabel knew that Hep D was as dangerous to vampires as Hep V was, she was weak, she could not fight to break free.

".....Hugo.....Please...." Isabel begged.

She would do anything to get out of this hell hole, no matter what she had to say to do it.

"SILENCE!" Hugo bellowed.

Getting to his feet as he turned from the cage as he headed towards a wooden table behind him as three bottles of open True Blood sat there and three syringes filled with a clear liquid. Pulling out his phone he began quickly typing a message and instantly hit send as he returned it to his pocket. Grabbing a hold of one of the bottles of True Blood as he turned swiftly back to an almost lifeless Isabel.

"Now. How about some fun?" he grinned as he approached the cage.
