Forever yours

She smiled as her body began to come alive. The sun had set and she rolled over to see Hoyt still asleep. Most of the time, he was on her sleep schedule and she felt guilty about that. She wished they could have a normal life together, but she also could not ask him to become a vampire just for her. He'd already sacrificed so much for her. Smiling, she ran her finger along his arm and whispered into his ear, "Mr. Fortenberry...."

It had taken Hoyt longer than he expected to switch into a whole new schedule so that he was awake when Jessica was. He would steal a nap during the day when Jessica was asleep. He couldn't deny that it was hard to adjust to everything being in the night but he loved Jessica and he was more than willing to do this for her.

It had been around three in the afternoon when he had collapsed into bed having spent most of the morning searching through the internet and making phone calls. He was fast asleep when he felt someone touch him arm which caused Hoyt to stir from his slumber.

A gentle voice roused him further as he opened his eyes and craned his head to the side, a small smile spread across his face "Mrs Fortenberry" he answered.

She smiled brightly as he called her Mrs. Fortenberry, something she had to get used to hearing. After all, the only Mrs. Fortenberry she knew was his mom, god rest her soul. Which made it slightly still weird to be called, but knowing she was his made it worthwhile. Propping herself up on her elbow, she continued to draw lazy circles on his arm, up to his shoulder and down his chest.

"I missed you..." She said with a smile. He worked early hours from sunset to the afternoon so he could nap and be up with her for most of the night. She'd tried to convince him that it was not necessary to make himself so tired. But, of course, he rebutted her argument. She would often remain awake during the day for as long as she could until she'd get the bleeds, then it just got gross. Sacrifice was something she'd become accustomed to.

Moving towards him, she pressed a soft kiss against his chest and moved up, kissing a trail up his neck and jaw until she met his lips.

Hoyt grinned and quickly glanced over to the clock on a bedside table.

"It's been fourteen hours" he chuckled at her admission that she missed him. His eyes fluttered when he felt her kiss his naked chest and then slowly up to his lips.

His hand slid up to her neck as he deepened the kiss between them. His other hand slid down to rest of her hip. Hoyt rolled over so that he was laid on top of Jessica using his arms to support his weight, his fingers playing with strands of her hair.

She smiled against his lips and then felt their kiss deepening, growing with intensity and love. Passionate and consuming, it was how he kissed her. It was how he used to kiss her when they first got together. It brought back so many good memories, she wondered how she survived so long without him. How she was able to carry on for those two years when he hated her.

Rolling to her back, she played with the hairs at the nape of his neck as he looked down at her. "Fourteen hours is such a long time." She teased him with a playful pout. Running her fingers along his cheek as she studied him, a soft smile coming to her lips. "How was work?"

"Same old, just the usual. Boring" he admitted to her "All I could think about was you" he paused "And this" and he pressed a kiss against her lips "And this" and he kissed along her jaw "And this" and he kissed the side of her neck.

Letting the back of his hand caress her cheek "But....Chris gave me some time off" he told her.

Hoyt had been working on this for several weeks now and he wanted to surprise Jessica.

She smiled softly and bit her lower lip as he said how much he'd thought about her and missed her too. She kissed him back and giggled when he continued kissing her to show what he missed. He caressed her cheek and she looked into his eyes, curious as to why he had time off, but on the inside so giddy that they could just spend more time together. "Really? That's great, I'll call Arlene and let her know I'll be taking a few nights too. We could binge watch the new season of Grey's Anatomy?" She suggested with a big grin, running her finger along his jaw and wrapping one leg around his waist. "Or...we could...stay in bed...." She smirked.

Hoyt groaned, her leg wrapped around his waist "We could do that...I mean the stay in bed minus the Grey's Anatomy" he added.

Claiming her lips again in a passionate kiss "And I already spoke to Arlene. She's already agreed, well that and I do a few things around the bar for her...But we are going away next week. Ten days" he told her.

Hoyt had been working out where to take Jessica and he finally figured it out.

She smiled deviously and wiggled her brows playfully as she kissed him between him speaking. She was nipping and kissing his neck as he spoke when she pulled back quickly from the information he'd just shared with her. "You...talked to Arlene? Wait..." As he continued to explain to her that they were going away, her smile brightened.

"Where are we going?" She was excited to learn of his plans, so excited she didn't let him speak. Using her strength to push him so that he rolled to his back and she straddled him, she moved her head so that her hair was to the side as she looked down at him. "Wait..." She put her finger to his lips. "Let me guess? I like guessing games!" She bit her lower lip and thought really hard. "California?"

His back hit the bed and Jessica straddled him, he found it very hard to focus on what he was talking about before and with Jessica like this it was making it hard to keep concentrating. Opening his mouth to speak he was silence.

Shaking his head and kissing her finger "Guess again" he smirked.

It would be the last place Jessica would think of.

She groaned and grinned, looking down at him with a curious look as she thought about where he could be taking her. "Hmm...I wonder..." She saw how he was trying really hard to focus but his body betrayed him. She took his hand and bought it to her lips as her fangs began to descend. Placing his index finger against her lips, she slipped her tongue out to tease him. "We can guess later...can't we? It's been...14 hours...." She grinned deviously.

Wrapping her lips around his finger, she sucked softly to tease him more and grinned when he groaned. He'd forgotten their conversation already and as bad as she wanted to know what he had planned, she could not focus with that insatiable hunger she had for a taste of his blood and to feel him against her.
