As he sat there he pondered what he would have to do. He’d seen Godric be killed by Lilith.
“It is not I who needs to fight” he’d said. Eric fell back on the bed in Nora’s room. He knew Nora had seen Godric too, and now he understood why Nora had been attracted to this whole madness. She’d been saddened that she’d been discarded, that Godric and Eric had left her alone all those years and now, she was brainwashed under Salome’s spell.
Even worse now Russell was gunning for fae blood, and both he and Bill knew where he was headed, and for who. Dammit. It seemed that the biggest problems always revolved around Sookie. He looked at his phone, still untraceable. He made a call. This was a desperate situation and he was tired of other vampires going after Sookie. Calling one of the few underlings he would still have at this time he had a package delivered to Sookie’s house.
A black box, wrapped in simple paper, with a letter of instructions written in his handwriting. He’d been meaning to give her the box for a while now, but things had gotten complicated.
“Dearest Sookie. This package is special and I’m leaving precise instructions for you. Should in the event that I meet the true death, and Pam informs you of this you are to open this package and bring it to Pam. It will entitle you to my estate so you will want for nothing.
Should I not meet the true death in the near future and I return to Bon Temp you will get a call from Pam inviting you to the bar. When that call comes I will like it if you came and returned this package, unopened to me. I assure you there is nothing dangerous in the box, it is merely important in either scenario.”
