This week is the week of Thanksgiving, a time to be thankful for what we have, but not for what we do not have. Today Bill Compton is thankful for Love. Love comes in many shapes and forms, may it be the love for a person, a personal possession for one self, but to others love may not exist, until you have experiences it for yourself. Bill had the love of a person...well several to be precise, he had a progeny Jessica Hamby, his first human love that was his wife Caroline, his first vampire love that he had experienced Sookie Stackhouse and the other woman who had brought him back to his self Kiara Griffen. Bill had considered himself to be unworthy of many things in his life, and sometimes he considered himself lucky to have such beings around him.
He was thankful for the love of his progeny Jessica Hamby, the only member of his family that could forgive him for all that he has done to her and those around her, and she was still able to find it in her heart to love him. To love him as a friend, as her Maker and in someway as a father. He had never really had the chance to watch his human children grow up, so he was thankful for Jessica to allow his this chance to do things again...to do things properly the way he should have in the beginning. To start over...Today he was thankful for Jessica.
He was thankful for the love of Sookie Stackhouse, a young human woman that had put her own life in danger to save his own on the first night that they had met, although it had all been orchestrated by his own doing on the Queen's orders. He had been instructed to seduce and bond with her in any means that he could see fit. He had never expected that he would fall in love with her. She had seen through his vampire exterior and seen the man who had been taken away from his human wife and children. She had opened his eyes to exploring a whole new world that they explored together, and although now that she was with Eric Northman, he would always love her in someway or another. He would be there for her as he once promised her, as she did too him. She tried too help him when he considered that there was no way too save himself. But he was wrong. Today he was thankful for Sookie Stackhouse.
He was thankful for the love of Kiara Griffen, the young were that had been in the service of Eric Northman, someone that he had persuaded to come and work for him. A business deal that's all it had been to start with, but eventually he had felt something grow between them as their lust soon developed into love. He was devoted too her in ways that he never thought possible after loosing Sookie. But then again he was wrong, he loved her and deep down he knew that she loved him still. After that night, fueled by the blood of Lilith he had believed to have killed her. And when she came back into his life he believed that he was being given another chance at trying to earn her forgiveness. He had eternity and he was willing to try for her love....So today he was thankful for Kiara Griffen.
