    The arrival. Empty The arrival.

Getting people to do anything had never been a problem for Colin. Even as a human he’d been a charming farm hand. He was the kind of man a father wanted to marry his daughter to, yet also wanted to shoot for his womanizing ways. Ever since he’d been turned vampire at the age of 17 his charms had brought him both riches and misery. Not to mention the woman who turned him had then discarded him like a worn out toy.

“You’re fun… but not anymore so as your maker I release you now go run along and play somewhere” were the last words his maker had spoken to him. Stunned his maker had left with her maker and left him to fend for himself alone in San Francisco. Now nearly 100 years later he was a successful vampire model.

However he had a huge ax to grind against his maker. Now, being driven down to Shreveport, he’d managed to track her down. As he expected she still lived with her maker. But what really irritated him was that she had made another vampire AND had kept her. Oh no, he wasn’t good enough for her, but some chick of a mediocre hole in the ground town was?

Colin felt the glass he’d been holding shatter. The driver quirked a brow. “Everything alright Sir?” he asked Colin nodded, setting the broken glass aside and wiping his hand.

“Yes Brandon everything is fine. How much longer?” he asked. The driver nodded. “We’re just a few miles away from the hotel. Shall I call ahead for a donor?” he asked. Colin nodded. “Yes, you do that” he said before he closed the dividing screen. He was already in Shreveport and soon he would arrive at this “Fangtasia” bar. Gods who the hell named it that a 5 yr old? Colin shook his head. He was about to show his “maker” just what she created and what she let go.
