How she had gotten here she couldn't remember. All she could feel was her body weaken further by the bite. Dammit... shows her not to open her mouth around vampires.
She stumbled out of her car, making it just a few yards before falling on the grass. The moon was out, but it was not full. She groaned. At least out here she'd be relatively safe and she'd be able to rest for a bit and recover. Her neck still stung and she felt quite cold.
"Suck it up girl... there aint no one here to baby you" she muttered to herself, closing her eyes and letting the cool louisiana breeze soothe her a bit
