And So It Starts (2017)

Finally!

A regular Saturday night off and Brianna welcomed it with open arms and she was going to enjoy it as much as she could. She was thrilled when Willa had given her the night off, she was free to do with it what she wished.

But somehow she ended up at Bellefleur's.

Another bar on her night off, but she had a motive behind coming here tonight. She hoped that maybe tonight she would see Jason Stackhouse. After meeting his girlfriend Violet who seemed sort of nice, a little rude though, she hoped that he would be alone tonight.

She had gone down to the Bon Temps police station and met another office who seemed to dislike Jason very much. She couldn't understand why, he was always nice to her when they spoke. After spending so much time with Willa, she had finally manged to learn how to glamour and she loved it.

She had glamoured the woman called Kenya to find out where Jason was, finding out that he had finished his shift several hours ago and would be at the bar like he normally was. So that was how she ended up here.

She slowly entered the bar and for what seemed like such a long time, no one looked around to see her enter. It was such a relief to not have everyone stare at him like she was a devil. She glanced around the bar and began her search for Jason. It did not take her long until she found him, sitting in the exact same booth that they had first met in all those years ago.

Slowly gliding across the floor as she found him nursing a beer in his hands as his head hung low. She turned to see a new waitress, although she could not remember her name. The waitress remembered her and began to instantly heat up a True Blood.

Sliding into the booth as she saw Jason raise his head as though he was nursing the worst headache known to man kind.

"You alright Jason?" she quizzed.

Jason Stackhouse had finished his shift several hours ago, he needed to get out of the station. He glanced at his watch as he sat in his truck that was parked outside Bellefleur's. The sun would soon be setting and soon Violet would be calling to find out where he was. But tonight he was having a night off from being at home all the time. He needed some freedom and having a few beers would solve everything for tonight.

Switching the engine off as he hopped out of his truck and locking it up as he headed straight into the bar, assaulted with a Jukebox that sat in the corner playing some sort of dance music as he headed for the bar. He did not have to wait long as he was served a pitcher of beer as he paid for it as headed towards a booth in the back. He glanced around to see if he could see Sookie or Alcide, good news to him neither were here tonight. He wasn't in the mood for questions, he just wanted to be left alone.

What seemed like hours later, he was on his third bottle of beer, setting up a tab as he started drinking his beer, his head hung low as he looked up to see Brianna sitting in front of him.

"Hey Brianna...Can I get you something to drink?" he asked politely.

Brianna shook her head at his politeness, the waitress turned up with her bottle of blood. AB+. Reaching into her pocket as she pulled out a few notes and handed them to the waitress.

"Keep the change" she smirked.

Turning her attention back to Jason as she reached out to touch his hand. She hated seeing Jason so down and depressed like this, he was the closest thing she had to a male friend that actually listened to her and didn't constantly try to get into her pants.

"I can't help you Jason if you don't tell me what is bothering you?" she asked worriedly.

Jason sighed heavily as he tried to think of what was even wrong with him. He wasn't in the mood to discuss anything, but with Brianna it was different. He could tell her anything and everything that he couldn't tell anyone else, including Violet. Raising his beer as he took several large mouthfuls and slid it back onto the table.

"It's work...It's Violet. Its everything I guess. I guess I just needed a break" he sighed.

He glanced around at the customers who he knew to be new around here, not having seen them here before.

"What the fuck are you looking at dip shit!" he cursed.

"Jason!"

Brianna had seen it all before, people staring at her because of what she was. But it didn't bother her any longer, not like it had been when she was freshly turned. But now after everything that she had been through it didn't affect her. But she was worried about Jason, it wasn't like him to act out like this in front of her.

"Jason, calm down. Leave them be. Tell me what is wrong, maybe I can help" she offered.

She had to help him, he had helped her so many times in the past. It was only right that she returned the favor.

Jason drained his beer in one swift mouthful, sliding out of the booth as he reached into his pocket and pulled out several dollar bills and left it on the table.

"....Not now Brianna....I will call you later" he groaned.

Giving a gentle wave to Arlene who stood behind the bar as she frowned at his reaction. He stormed out of the bar. Heading straight to his truck and he hopped inside, and slumped in his truck. He was finding it to difficult to be around Brianna right now. His head was all in a mess, he liked her as a friend, but he couldn't stop thinking about her.

"Jason!.....JASON!" she called out after him.

She plumped herself down in the booth as she folded her arms across her chest. Why was Jason acting like this? She had never seen him do this before, just leave her all alone. Every time when they would leave, he would drive her back to Bill's mansion before he went home. He was a gentleman, and she knew that he was with Violet. But she couldn't help with the way she felt about him, she liked him more than a friend.

Brianna was in love with Jason Stackhouse.
