The dirt weighed heavily against Bill Compton's chest as his eyes were forced shut from the sheer force of the weighing soil against his face. He could hear everything that lived and breathed beneath the surface as he joined them for the night. The wriggling worms that slid underneath the palms of his hands signalled that they would soon join him on the surface. But for now his body was confined to the self created tomb that he had made many months ago. His body sank further into the moist dirt that cloaked him in a world that he knew very well.
