The end?

How long had she been in here…..days…weeks…months? The pain made it hard to keep track of time. Her shoulders hurt the most surprisingly enough. Being strung up by her wrists and hanging a good two feet from the floor but with weights on her ankles that pulled on her joints. Her wrists, her shoulders, her elbows, hips, knees and ankles. They all protested, they wanted to return to their sockets and not be forced like this.

She ventured a chance to blink. Hard to do when her left eye was totally swollen shut. What little she could see out of her right eye didn’t give her any information. Bright white walls that reflected all the light that came from the ceiling. She couldn’t see a door, no furniture, nothing but four white walls, white floor, white ceiling. Well not totally white walls, her blood had painted them really nicely.

He grinned. His pet was tough, most humans would have passed out by now. But after a broken cheekbone, a handsome black eye, several broken ribs, broken clavicle, bruised hips, broken ankles, and currently two exposed knees she was still alive and conscious to boot.

“Lets try this again… I am now your master and creator. I am Raphael” he said as he walked over to her, stabbing two fingers into her right knee, digging through the exposed muscle to find the tendons he could exploit.

Pain exploded throughout her body. She would scream but for whatever reason she didn’t. Her stomach lurched however, the pain making her very nauseous. She heard the voice, the same voice that had been taunting her with the same phrase over and over that if she wasn’t in so much pain she’d be pissed off. He kept saying bullshit that she wasn’t going to go with. Clearly he wanted to break and inflict pain on her but he was several years and several tactics too late to achieve that.

She had more pressing matters than this man. It had been god knows how long since she’d had drunk Bill’s blood. Every jolt of pain clawed at the wall of sanity in her mind. She knew if this kept going on she would go feral. She would turn back into the monster she hated, the monster she ultimately was.

Raphael growled. The bitch was being stubborn. Maybe if he drained some of her blood, showed her he was going to turn her she would submit. Fuck it.

He came up behind her.

“Bleed little pet… and know that you will be reborn vampire” he said as he sank his fangs into her tender neck, drinking deeply of the fountain of her life.

The first sound she made came from her mouth. She groaned as the vampire sank his fangs into her neck. She knew she would die, there was no denying that. Ironic that it would be some crazy possessive vampire who wanted to turn her when the only vampire she loved would rather shut her in a room.

Raphael pulled his fangs back. He’d drank at least 1/3 of her blood volume. She would be weak right now, still alive but weak.

“Will you submit now? Will you behave and admit I am now your master?” he asked, his voice not really giving his questions much of a choice in answers.

Kiara opened her good eye again, staring at the vampire before her, or at least his image as her vision was getting blurry. Slowly, very slowly she turned her head to make a no, unable to really talk as blood had begun to drip out of the corners of her mouth.

Raphael sighed.
“You know Compton won’t come. He won’t come rescue you”
He crossed his arms over his chest.
“Admit it… he doesn’t care. He locked you away in some room so you’d stay out of his way. You’re not his equal, you’re not even on the level of being a plaything for him”

She coughed, blood coming out freely from her mouth but at least now giving her voice box a chance to be used.
“I…know” she said, her voice raspy. The lack of blood made her feral nature claw at her mind. She didn’t have much time.

Raphael growled again in frustration.
“Then why not submit to me?! I will be a much better master than that idiot Compton!”
He couldn’t understand the loyalty to Compton. Why would anyone stay with a vampire who CLEARLY did not care about anyone other than himself?

Kiara closed her eyes. She knew all these things. She knew Bill didn’t see her as an equal. That he was content in pushing her aside, pretending he cared. Out of sight was out of mind to him. He didn’t want to be questioned, to be challenged. He needed control over everything and he was happy when….when she submitted to his every whim.

“B-because….I…” she said before she coughed again, more blood pouring out. The pain was suddenly gone all over her body. Like someone had turned off the pain switch. She knew she was dying. She’d been in this state before. When the pain becomes so intense it turns liberating. All she had to do was let go…let go and fall.

Raphael was suddenly behind her as he bit and tore into her neck. He drank and drank. He was tired of the games. He was turning her now. She would be vampire and as her maker she would have no choice but to obey. She would submit to his every command and as the centuries pass she would be his perfect toy.

~ 30 minutes later~


The walls were painted crimson. It reeked of death and gore. There was laughter. Cold, cruel, psychotic laughter.



She ran her hand through the fresh blood on the wall. Everything was perfect. So filled with death. Her last dance was incredible and she needed more. She needed to feel the warm flesh of bodies between her teeth, to feel a still beating heart as it pumped the last bit of life.


She was hungry, so hungry. She wanted life, she wanted death, to be held and to be alone. She knew she would never return. That by the dawn of the morning sun she would be dead. There was no life left in her body. She would go out and be unleashed unto the world for one last night.

She penned a last message unto the wall, for the man who abandoned her. Maybe in a few months he would find this place, find where she spent her last words, wasted on him in a delusional sense of love. These words would release him from her forever. He would move on as her body rotted into the ground.
