After many hours of delays and re-routes, William could finally see the landing strip come into view through the thick clouds that cloaked Dallas, Texas. William was not a big fan of this city as he had experiences of this city back in the 1760's, it was an era in his life that he longed to forget. Celeste, a female vampire from the French Quarter of New Orleans, who had the same primal cannibalistic urges as he had buried within him.
He did often wonder if she had survived the fire 1788. But times were different back then, he was now the King of Britain, all his power that he had gained had been through vigorous effort on his part and death of many others. But William was back in the US for a different reason, he had his sights set on claiming the Were Miss Griffen as his own.
King Compton had foolishly let her escape his grasps, he had given her the choice of free will, a mistake that he would not make. William's slender fingers drummed along the armrest, his eyes gazing out of the small window that over looked the city below. The city scattered with an almost fairy like scene, the faintest of light zoning in and out as the humans of Dallas carried out about their night. Tonight he and his entourage would feast, bathe in the blood of the innocent and virtuous.
"Your Majesty, the plane shall be landing shortly. Vehicles are ready to take you wherever you wish" Crispin voiced from a seat next to William.
His index finger ran along his lower lip, William's gaze captured by the young male attendant who was now storing things in a storage unit just ahead of him.
"We shall remain in Dallas for a few days. If this place is still how it was back in 1762 there shall be some fine wine for us to dine on mate" he spoke with a sly smirk on his face.
Returning his attention back to the window as William could now see that the plane had begun its descent to the run way, the vigorous clicking and clanking of the landing gear readying to land.
"If I may speak frankly your Majesty...Why all this effort for a piece of tail? You can have any girl that you so desire. Why this one?" Crispin questioned William.
That remark had brought William out of his concentration, he turned to gaze at the feeble vampire next to him.
"If I wanted your bloody opinion. I would ask for it!" he growled "Now, piss off before I rip your balls off and make your wear them as a broach. Clear? Mate!" he hissed as his fangs dropped below his upper lip.
Crispin bowed his head and stood up to leave heading back to handle the control of the luggage removal from the jet. The throaty growl still lingered heavily on his lips as he noted that the plane had landed on the runway now. His entourage had already begun to gather their belonging's and were now waiting
William pushed himself to his feet and out off his cream plush recliner and made his way to the door and was greeted by the exact same male attendant.
"Thank you....for flying with....Anubis Airline, we do hope.....that your journey....was satisfactory" the young man stuttered.
William turned to meet the eyes of his brother Max who already had a sadistic smirk on his face, knowing exactly the same thought that William was having right at this moment. Turning his attention back to the young man whose brow was now heavily covered in a beading of sweat.
"Oh, very satisfactory" William smirked, his eyes glinting from the reflection of the light.
From outside of the plane, the exit door slammed closed and locked. It was silent for a few moments before a mixture of plea's and cries soon turned into blood curling screams.
