Pam lay there in her coffin knowing the sun was still out, but that the sun would set soon. She felt a tear roll down her face as she remembered last night's events. For her safety, Eric released her. The minute he said the words she felt the sharpest pain in her chest and regretted being so strong for him. She knew it was what he wished for her, and he made a good point. But Eric was her best friend, her father, her maker. No one could ever, nor would ever compare to the way she loved him. She was a maker herself now, and although she didn't like Tara all that much, she knew Tara needed guidance and support. She had to step up as a maker and make the best of the situation. Tara would soon realize her life was not horrible, or worse. But better...she, in time would see that she was given a chance not many receive. A true gift of immortality. A second chance to be who and what she wanted. Though the ties between she and Eric were broken, she'd never betray him. Always by his side when he ever needed. It wasn't the end, far from it in fact. She laid still, her thoughts flowing through her. As Eric said she was born into greatness, so was Tara and she had to know that.
What pained her still was the fact that Eric had released her knowing that he may not survive his mission. Be it Russell Edgington or the Authority, he was destined to not see another moon rise. Her eyes flashed open, face still wet with crimson tears. She couldn't stand by and just see her maker do this all alone. There had to be something she could do, to save him...to save them both. She wiped her face and looked at her hands. She rose from her coffin and went over to Tara's. Opening it slowly, Tara's eyes flew open. "Time to Rise." She held out a hand, as Tara looked at her confused, but ultimately took her hand and stood. "Hungry?" She asked with a grin as Tara looked down. "Let's go hunt....I'll teach you how." She said as she grabbed her hand and sped off.
She was born into greatness, so she couldn't fail. She had to make him proud.
