~ The Vampire Authority - Authority Chamber ~
Bill continued pacing back and forth for a few moments, the heels of his shoes clicking against the tiled floor. Dressed in his signature black jacket, dark grey shirt and crisp black pants. As a member of the Vampire Authority, one had to dress accordingly in presence of Chancellor's and all staff that worked within the Authority, be it guards, all members of their security detail and human livestock.
With twenty or more of the Vampire security guards that were the Authority's security detail stood before him, whilst Salome lounged on a blue linen chair, watching as Bill instructed the guards. With anger across his frowned face, his eyes almost blaring with the rage of an un-burning fire within them.
"Breached. What does that mean exactly? It means whether you patrol our halls. Or our borders, you watch surveillance screens or tend to our human livestock...You fucked up!"
All the guards had to do was simple, he found that a mere human (cattle) could accomplish the task to a much higher standard that the vampires that stood before him.
"Do you have any idea? How many people human and vampire Wanna see us all dead! Well thanks for making it easy for them"
If a mere Shifter had managed to find a way through their security system, then that made it possible for others to gain access to their compound. Humans or a member of the human media. Exposing their feeding habits and the humans that were locked away in a cell within the premises.
"But ultimately what matters most Is what lies just on the other side of that door....The actual essence of the very first of our kind. God's blueprint for us"
Bill turned and indicated to the two very large doors that blocked of another part of the chamber. A room that held the vial of blood that the Vampire Authority guarded with their lives. The very blood that had created his vampire bloodline, but not just his. Every vampire that lived among them. They were all descended from that very blood. The blood of Lilith.
"Scourer every inch of this place. Look for rats, mice, flies, cockroaches, termites, fleas...Have fun. Whatever you find. Kill it!"
The Shifter needed too be found, they could not have someone that held so much knowledge of this compound exposed to the human world. It would bring everything that they were working towards to cease, to never happen. Everything that had led Bill to this path, to Lilith.
"If it doesn't shift back into human form after its dead. Then keep on looking....Dismissed"
As the guards acknowledge their new orders that Chancellor Compton had delivered to them. They in a formative matter, exited the chamber. Leaving Bill alone in the presence of Salome, and just inches away from the one that he alone called God. As she had chosen him. Bill Compton was what Lilith had called to him as
"The Chosen One"
