Kiara rummaged through her closet. She had already made up her mind and knew she’d go to see her family pack soon for the ceremony so she had to make sure she still had all she needed.
As she pulled out the outfit from the back of her closet a twinge of pain went through her heart. This had been her mothers, passed down from mother daughter through the generations. Story had it that a vampire had commissioned the dress to be made for its lover. It was made of the finest silks and encrusted in gems. It resembled a belly dancers dress and was meant to be light yet allowed the woman to conceal weapons along her legs.
As she slid it on her form she grinned. Despite it being pretty the ceremony would be anything but and hopefully in the years since the last ceremony she hadn’t lost her touch with the rest of what her duties would require. She spun around a bit, feeling dainty. She actually laughed. She’d never been dainty in her life.
She then went to find the pendant that went with the outfit. A special dousing pendant it would allow her to finish the ceremony with the wolves. Now she REALLY looked like some sort of belly dancer or fairy princess, however the outfit exposed enough of her skin and hugged her curves well to keep that sort of forbidden allure that she had to have for the ceremony.
