The doors to the elevator closed behind him as he stepped out from the lift leaving Kiara standing behind the two thick brass doors as he had kept his eyes firmly locked onto her own as there connection was broke. He could still taste her lingering fragrance on his attire and her sweet intoxicating breath on his lips. It transfixed him onto the very spot that he stood on, unable to move, unable to think. He remained silent as the elevator had begun to ascend to the floor above him, he would soon find out which suite that she resided in, they needed too talk, to sort things out between them. So many things left unspoken between them that had driven a wedge into the relationship that they had. It seemed that now he somehow gained some sort of former normality that he had become more confident in himself and more pleasantly reassured in his surrounding and becoming more aware of what he was capable of, but yet that still continued to frighten him more that he knew. He heard a murmur of a faint heart beat approaching him in such a slow pace that he could hear a young woman's shallow breath as her she tried to control her slowly increasing heart rate as she approached him.
"Mr Compton *he turned to meet the face of a young woman with sleek long brunette hair and enticing green eyes, her gleaming white smile surrounded by pert ruby lips* I have been instructed by the King to show you to your hotel suite for the duration of your stay *she bowed into a womanly curtsy*
"I would appreciate that thank you" he nodded in a king like matter at her, as she inclined him to follow her to his suite for his and Jessica's stay. He had instructed whilst back in Bon Temps that he wished for an adjoining room for his progeny which the receptionist said that she would follow his orders as she was told to do so by the King, which did make him wonder what the King's intentions was besides the Grand opening of the Red Dragon and that he did not trust Victor Madden at least after he noticed his clear attraction to her which he did not like in the least. As they both made their way down a long wide hallway they stopped out side a large double set of doors with the number 1103 engraved onto the outside. She placed her hand into her apron pocket and pulled out a small card which she slid into a small machine that flashed green and he heard the door unlock and she opened it slowly.
"The fridge is fully stocked with several flavors of Royal Blend, especially ordered by the King himself. And there is a list of donor's available for all tastes and if there is nothing else you require Mr Compton. I shall be heading of now" she spoke in a soft and angelic tone.
"Would you please pass all this onto my progeny Jessica Hamby. You shall find her in the hotel gift shop" he asked.
"Of course sir, right away" she grinned back at him sweetly.
"That shall be all..Thank you" he nodded firmly.
She smiled brightly back at him as she handed him the key card and took her leave as he turned and took his first steps into the hotel suite as he was astounded at the suite that would be his and Jessica's for their stay. The lounge was all pale's and creams and pale browns that suited to his taste in decor. The carpet was soft and still had that fresh smell that smelt like wheat and reminded him of home. With two large windows that opened up into the Las Vegas night that sparkled brightly with the gleaming city lights and the roaring of the never ending traffic. Knowing that it was tempered glass for a vampire hotel he was glad about for now only his safety but that of his progeny.
He was quite pleased with this suite and he saw a large brown door that he assumed would lead to Jessica's room which he did not want to intrude into as it was her own personal space. He let himself wonder into another room of the suite and there he found that it was his bedroom. As he opened the dark mahogany wooden doors he opened them slowly to reveal his own personal suite. His bed covered in crisp white sheets and the wood work engraved with intricate designs and littered with a dusting of solid gold, tranquil and elegant.
He could only imagine what Jessica's room would be like if this was his, he felt very at home in this room, with no windows that would keep him shielded from any light, he would feel safe here. He could only hope. A large archway that led to the left of his bedroom opened up into a large and luxurious en-suite that would any woman's dream. He liked to bathe quite often and he would certainly enjoy that luxury tonight in peace. With a large white bathtub and the tiles a pale and dark grey and a very over large shower that could fit more that two people inside and even possibly more.
As his heels clicked as he walked into the bathroom to get a much better look around, it was far much bigger that his in Bon Temps, he considered that maybe it was time to re-model some of his home as a way to make a new start and to try to put the past behind him...or attempt too. He enjoyed the silence as much as he could, and tried to push aside all the temptations and desires that he had building up inside of him to go and find Kiara, was she thinking of him?
