This is it

The trail of death and destruction left by Bill painted a very obvious trail towards New Orleans. There was only one place in New Orleans Bill would be going under all the madness. The former Vampire Authority Headquarters.
 
What worried him as well was that Kiara, Bill's lover was missing. She wouldn't want to miss saving her boyfriend but Eric feared Bill may have killed her already. Without sparing another thought he called everyone over, Sookie included and prepared a convoy towards New Orleans. Unfortunately Jason Stackhouse insisted in tagging along but it wasn't that big of a deal. Having him concentrate on killing whatever other pesky vampires Bill may have made would allow Eric and the rest to concentrate on the bigger issues.
 
As they reached New Orleans they had to stop the cars. The death and massacres were extensive and there were vampires crawling all over the place like a B rated horror film. Jason at least made himself useful and began shooting everything he could. With him amused they made their way towards the still bloody building of the Authority. It was crawling with people and vampires.
 
"Listen... you guys clean up the place... anything that isn't Bill, Sookie, Myself or you gets killed, no exceptions" he said as he looked at Nora, Tara, Pam, Jessica and Jason. Jessica looked like she wanted to go with them but Eric stopped her.
 
"Jessica you're too tied deeply with Bill to help him. Sookie and I will try to find him and bring him back. If you send him around you at all tell the others and run. You don't know what he's capable off" he said as he looked at Sookie.
 

"Lets go..."

She nodded nervously, entirely unsure what they would find. Bill had clearly gone off the deep end, one too many sips of the sauce as it were. It broke her heart to know that the man she had once loved more than life, the one she had given her everything to only to have him rip her heart from her chest and stomp on it was now.... this.

Reaching out for Eric's hand, she gave it a squeeze and then motioned for him to lead the way. She wasn't quite sure where to go, so for once... she was doing exactly as she was told.

Back to the very beginning....Where it all started. Where he was truly born once again. Standing inside Salome's chambers, the remains of the former chancellor had now soaked into the carpet, but yet her presence was still heavily around him. 

Lilith

The one that had never doubted him had guided him back his place of birth, the place where he was one with the future. Everything in him driven back to this very spot. His hand reaching into his pocket as he retrieved the small vial, the last remaining drops of the one True God, Lilith. He held the small vial at eye level as he gazed upon its beauty, holding the creation of the vampire's entire existence in the palm of his hand.

Feasting upon the creation of life, one that had created all those around him. By the words of Lilith, the one that had never left him, had guided him back to the holy ground of his new re-birth. 

He was home.

He continued to gaze upon the small vial in his grasp, as he could hear the faint footsteps of someone approaching him, but he could not care less. He had the vial, he was invisible.

Eric, holding Sookie's hand headed up the stairs while everyone stayed in the lower levels.

"I will try and save him Sookie... but I make no promises" he said sternly. Only because Sookie still held some feelings for Bill did Eric even contemplate in saving him. If it were not for that Eric would relish killing Bill who had now put the vampire movement back several centuries and compromised everything.

He sniffed the air, finding the smell of rotten blood and gore disgusting but trying to find the tell tale scent of that blood that was Lilliths.

"I understand," she said quietly as they walked towards the room. Her heart was pounding in her chest and she let go of Eric's hand to step slightly in front of him. Maybe there was still something good left in him. He had, at one point, been a good man. He had been the love of her life, actually. Maybe if he saw her, maybe if there was still some little bit in him that still cared about her, he wouldn't do anything irrational. 

"Bill?" she said softly as they walked closer to the door. She stuck her head in the door and gasped before stepping into the room; she felt Eric behind her and turned to look over her shoulder at him. "What do we do?"

Bill continued to gaze at the small delicate vial between his fingertips, feel the smoothness of the glass across his skin, containing everything that he needed to help him. Everything in his life had been a lie, again. The lies of false promises, fake love and loyalty. Things that he no longer had from those around him, deserting him to the bottom of self pity...Lilith guiding him back to the light of salvation. Jessica, Kiara.....No one really knew him..No one. 

"Bill?"

Bill smirked as he let his eyes turn from the vial as he saw that Eric Northman and Sookie had joined him.

"So, the cavalry arrives" he smirked

Eric looked at Bill. He held the vial but it looked like he hadn't drunk it yet.

"Bill...think about what you're about to do... your lover, your progeny...they still need you" he said, trying to talk some sense into what used to be a very righteous vampire.

"You're throwing it all away for some mirage of a god"

"Don't do it, Bill!"

Her eyes went from him, to the bottle in his hands, and back up to his face. She didn't know exactly what that bottle would do, but she did know that it wasn't good. Eric had told her about having some of it and how it had effected him. She could only imagine how having that much would effect someone, too. 

The thought of losing Bill was almost too much; he had hurt her in so many ways, had almost killed her numerous times, but she still couldn't imagine a world with him not in it. Not now, not after all that they had endured. 

"Bill, we need you. Jessica needs you, Kiara needs you..." Her voice got quiet and she met his gaze. "I need you!"

"What the fuck do you both know?....Everything I have ever believed was a lie. Jessica...Kiara..You." he snapped.

Turning around to indicate to the entire room, the Authority building.

"They were the only ones who believed in the right thing. Lilith will grant me freedom from everything, freedom of fear and redemption. She will guide me in salvation....You know nothing!" he spat as Sookie.

He slowly began uncorking the small vial, dropping its seal to the floor.

Eric looked at the vial then at Bill. "These people preach nothing but lies. Look at you? They've made you put the vampire cause back thousands of years. Instead of evolving with the times you've resorted to acting like a savage" he said as he motioned around.

"there is nothing of value in this place or at the bottom of that vial. All you find is more lies and damnation Bill Compton"

She didn't say anything. His words stuck her; she had lied?! Hadn't their entire relationship been built on a lie? A lie by HIM?!

"Bill, I NEVER LIED TO YOU!" 

The lid to the bottle hit the floor and she jumped a bit, taking a step back and wrapping an arm around Eric. He was going to do it!

"BILL!!!! NO!!!!!" 

But it was too late. He had the bottle against his lips. Sookie wrapped her arms around Eric and hid her face, unable to handle what happened next. Bill... Her Bill was gone... And he was replaced by something much, much worse.

"I told you...The first night we met. Vampires often turn on those they love the most"

Bill raised the vile to his lips, feeling the cool liquid glide down his throat. Dropping the empty vial to the floor as a smirk spread across his lips. Soon he felt body shake violently as everything in his body began to take over him. Like sparks of fire burning through his body as he had no control as he let out a hurl of a scream as everything in his was gone.

His vision became clear, everything was not fully in sight.



He had never felt like this before, power surging through his veins. His hunger blast through his veins as everything inside him had amplified to the point of pure eternal desire. 

He was whole again.

He gazed around the room as he could smell, taste, see everything so clear. Hearing those around him he gazed at them. Letting out a deep growl.

Eric watched with morbid fascination. "Oh shit...." he muttered as Bill disintegrated then began to re-emerge.

"RUN!!!!" he yelled as he nearly pushed Sookie out and ran behind her.
