Hoyt hated having to keep this from Amy but he didn't know what she would say as to him going back to Bon Temps again. He hated having to leave her alone with the boys as he went home to see his mama to explain that he was a father. Not wanting Amy to hear the vile things that she had to say about the boys not being his. But he knew that they were, but he also promised to keep Amy's secret safe about what she was.
But first before he called his mama, he needed to speak with Amy's brother Cael about coming to stay whilst he was out of town for a few days. That was all he the time he wanted to be away from them. But this was something that he needed to do. Plus it would get his mama off his back about why he never visited and talked about a Jason Stackhouse and it being his fault. But he couldn't remember a Jason Stackhouse, he remembered some guy on the football team called Jason who busted his knee during the playoffs in front of a scout, but that was about it.
What ever happened to him? Hoyt wondered.
As he peered his head around the door and found Amy entertaining the boys with some new toys that they had bought at the store, he found a secluded place in the motel that would be quiet for his phone call. Hitting dial as he waited for Cael to answer wondering where ever he was would he answer and to his avail he didn't. His call went straight through to voice-mail.
"Cael...It's Hoyt...Hoyt Fortenberry. I need to see you, thank you" he ended the call and the voice mail message.
Hopefully he wouldn't take too long in answering as he popped his phone into charge and turned the volume to max so that he could hear it from the main lounge. He headed straight back to what meant the most to him; Amy, Elijah and Lucas.
