Going Home?

*** At the safe house in the city of Bon Temps ***

Brianna had been sipping on her third bottle of blood now, trying to make it last. She hated being locked up in this cramp place. She just wanted to go back home, where that home was, she did not know. Whether it was Quinn's home or even her home with Bill. She loved spending time with Arabella and Cassia having discovered that she and Cassia had a lot in common. Arabella not so much, but at least they were friends which would save Quinn a lot of hassle if everyone under his roof could at least get along.

As her nails drummed along the wooden frame of the chair that she had been sitting in for hours as she gazed into the empty space in front of her eyes. She could smell something cooking for Cassia as the smell made her want to be sick, when it wasn't that long ago she would have been eating the exact same thing.

As she drained her bottle deciding to get another as she tossed the empty bottle into the trash can as she stood to her feed and headed straight to the fridge as she caught a glimpse of the monitors as something seemed odd as a large truck appeared at the front of the safe house.

"Arabella!......Arabella!" Brianna called as she watched the live feed from outside.

Arabella looked up when she heard Brianna calling. She walked over to the monitor and saw the cause of the excitement. A large truck had parked outside, and there were several others pulling in behind it. She zoomed in on the driver of the lead vehicle and smiled.

"It's Tolvin, Brianna. I guess it is safe enough to go home now or it is time to move again. Either way we can leave here now. They will have everything set up in a few minutes."

She reached for her phone and keyed in a message to Tolvin that they were getting ready and would be out in a few minutes. She braced against the smells of the kitchen and walked in to tell Cassia the good news. Arabella thought to herself that normal human food was bad enough, but Cassia had decided to fry up some Spam and eggs for dinner. Now that really put out a stench. She laughed when Cassia dumped the hot mess in the garbage and squealed in excitement. She had not liked being cooped up in here any more than the rest of them. As she gathered her guns from the podium and closed down the screens, she tossed Brianna the weapons she had chosen out of the trunk of the car and grinned.

"Merry Christmas, Brianna. You can keep those."

She and Cassia gather up what little they needed and headed for the door.

Brianna continued to watch the live feed from the monitors as she saw a few more vehicles pull up behind the large truck as she heard Arabella's remark about being able to leave.

"What? So we can leave? We can go back to the house?" she asked excitedly.

Brianna turned her attention back to the live feeds as she watched several guards that still patrolled the area as she felt giddy inside, she was about to get out of here. Turning around as she heard Arabella's voice as she caught what was tossed into her arms. It was the guns that she had chosen from the trunk.

"Keep them? Really?" she asked again.

Arabella draped and arm over Cassia's shoulder as they headed toward the door.

"Yep, you needed a few of your own anyway. Let's go. Convoy moves in 5."

Arabella pressed the spine of a hymnal on a bookshelf and a section of the wall opened revealing a hallway that ended in a rather sturdy looking door. She walked to the door and knocked three times on it, grinning at Brianna.

'Convoy moves in 5?'

Was that some old war command? Brianna had never even heard of it. As she followed Arabella and Cassia to some old book shelf as a hidden door revealed itself as it opened to a hallway. Where the heck did that come from? Brianna had read a few books from that shelf and not once did she discover that! Remembering how Arabella taught her to put the safety on the guns as she placed the tips in her pockets and carried one at the ready. Seeing her knock on the door made her even more curious.

"Where are we going?" she asked Arabella.

"That is what we are about to find out."

Arabella smiled when Tolvin opened the door and motioned for them to exit. She led Cassia out and nodded to Brianna.

"Let's go. I guess we will find out when we get there."

Tolvin smiled at her comment.

"We are taking you all back to the estate, Miss Trillo. The repairs are well underway and the secured wing was not breached so it is safe. The security measures have understandably been increased but at least you will be home."

Arabella smiled and glanced back at Brianna.

"Are you ready?"

Brianna smirked a little, still unsure of what was happening. Were they being moved again to another secret location? Why couldn't they just go back home? Her prayers were answered, as a man named Tolvin who she had seen around the estate a few times answered her question.

They were going back to Quinn's estate!

She could go back to her own room and do whatever she wanted, and she was pretty sure Cassia just wanted to get Arabella back home.

"I am always ready" she grinned.

Arabella smirked at Brianna's comment.

"We'll see. For now, lets get in. Tolvin, ride with her. I'll have Cassia with me in the #2 car. I expect you to protect Brianna as if it were me."

"Of course Miss Trillo." ~turning toward Brianna~ "If you would come with me, Miss Jackson, we can get underway. I imagine a shower and a change of close will be a good thing."

Arabella smiled as she led Cassia to the second car. As they climbed in, she winked at Brianna.

"See you at home."

"Oh you have no idea!" she squealed at Tolvin.

Hopping into the first vehicle as Tolvin closed the door behind her as she glanced around to see through the rear view window as Arabella climbed into the car with Cassia. Brianna knew that she probably would not see Arabella and Cassia for the rest of the night.

She wanted to ask Tolvin how Quinn was, but she just wanted to see for herself. She was worried about him and just wanted to see him. As Tolvin started the engine as he pulled out onto a dirt track. Brianna counted down the moments until she was home.
