Kiara re-read the invitation while still on the plane. Her business was still booming apparently since the Vampire King of Nevada had insisted she attend the opening of his new casino. She had already flown several donors for the party but had not expected to attend it.
Now she was flying first class on a private jet, watching the sun set outside the small window. Dressed in a short black dress, her hair down she leaned over to strap on her heels. The captain spoke that they were about to begin their final decent.
She turned off her phone and pocketed the invitation. The invitation held a gilded ticket that was to be her entrance to the casino since it was a private event. The last bit of light vanished from the horizon and she sighed. Darkness, vampires did do all their partying at night after all. She just hoped she could get through the party and go home without too much fuss.
