Here Lies Jessica Hamby Empty Here Lies Jessica Hamby

I had gotten restless staying at the mansion, Bill gone and doing God knows what..Jason not returning my calls. With over 800 channels on TV and still nothing caught my attention. I'd gotten to go back to work for Sam, since things had picked up. Arlene was back from vacation and she was thrilled that we'd be working together. She hated not being the only red head on shift.

This is KSLA News 12 at ten, reporting on the sad story of the missing teen Jessica Hamby. Her parents have searched for going on two years now, with no hope in finding their loving daughter. To have some sense of closure the family bought a plot at the family cemetery to have their daughters memories buried.

The reporter turned the microphone to my mother as she cried, my father held her. "We just want her back, she was such a good girl." My father looked pained. "It was probably an evil creature of the night, who killed her and not took a second thought about it." My eyes widened. Wow...I stood and rushed to the Bon Temp Cemetery, there I saw the flowers over a new grave. It was right next to where my grandparents were. I sank to my knees and touched the flowers. "Oh....momma." Would it be better for them to know I am alive and okay, but a vampire? OR better for them to think I was dead....

"Jessica?" A voice came from behind me as I turned quickly to see Eden standing there. "Eden...wha-what are you doing here?" She looked at me and then ran into my arms. "I missed you so much! Where have you been?! Momma and daddy are gonna kill you!" I smiled and held her to me...

"Eden, listen to me..." I knelt down before her and looked into her eyes. "You didn't see me here, okay. You came to say goodbye to my grave and felt my presence telling you that I'm okay." She nodded, in a hypnotic trance. "I didn't see you...."

With that I kissed her forehead and sped off into the darkness.
