Bill finally had the news that he had been waiting on since he had awoke for that evening, confirmation that the storm had sub-sided and that all forms of transport had been safe to use, the skies were clear and the road were once again open, finally he was able to return home to Bon Temps. As he packed away his remaining things that he had brought with him to New Orleans for the Summit, a few personal belongings that he deemed to be more safe with him on his being. He had spoken to Eric just after he had awoke for that night, discovering that he and Sookie were to travel separately from him as Eric had already had a scheduled flight to leave just after his own. He was satisfied with this as he wanted to head back home first of all to see to Jessica, he was still unable to reach her via her cell, due to the that there was work being scheduled to be done the power lines of some sort. He would soon be home sooner than that, he had still not had confirmation from any of his detailed security team that he had asked Eric to pass via his employee that Jessica was to be kept detained at home. With the threat of Victor Madden still possibly in the area, he had to be cautious that he would still have his sights set on his progeny and Kiara. He had decided that he would check on her after his visit home. He wanted to know all that he had missed, he did trust Eric's version of events, but he did underestimate Jessica when it came to protecting her friends. But he needed to see and hear for himself to know that she was alright. As he sat in the back seat of the limousine that had been sent courtesy of one of the services that Anubis airline provided for their well established vampire clientele.
He heard the car come to a stop as he caught a glimpse outside and saw his plane waiting on the tarmac waiting his arrival, as he opened the door, not waiting for one of the people who did that normally for him, he felt on edge as he sped up the stairwell into the plane, not wanting to waste anymore time that he needed too. As he took his seat in one on the many seats that were available, he had instructed to the captain before he had chance to speak his over rehearsed speech, that he wanted to take off immediately and to have a car waiting for him at the Shreveport airport, the captain nodded as he became flustered with himself as he headed back to the cockpit to begin the pre-flight preparations before take off. As the plane had made its way down the runway he felt the plane begins its ascend into the air, he felt a little calmer knowing that he was well on his way back home. He knew that the flight would not take long, just over an hour with the Anubis airline, they were efficient and were always up to their flight standards.
Time seemed to fly by so fast as Bill was brought back to reality from the world of plans that he had been conducting to eliminate Victor without starting a 'vampire war', he and Eric would need to have a meeting soon to discuss their possible moves, assuming that he would be able to keep Sookie out of their plans, as he would have to try with Jessica, but he new that she had her ways of finding out, rather it being from him that a second hand source. As the plane wheels bounced slightly as it hit the tarmac runway, he was already stood by the door waiting for the plane to halt, as he stumbled as the plane came to a stop, he had the door open and unwilling to wait for the stairs to be propped into place, he had jumped the few feet from the door, his feet colliding with the ground as the door to his car was waiting for him. As he slide inside and ordered the driver to double their speed back to his home without fail, the driver nodded too him as he begun his last leg of his journey, as they say home is where the heart lies, as in some tense it was true, at home lay Jessica and Kiara. His mind continued to wander as the drive seemed to take longer than expected, the bright lights of 'Fangtasia' beamed brightly in the dark night as he knew that Eric and Sookie's flight would still be in mid-air. He had given strict instructions that Jessica was to remain under guard until he arrived home, and he noted that there was some new members of guard that he did not recognise, he had no knowledge of of whom else would orchestrate this, but he needed too find out. As the car drove down his driveway, he was home, and for that he was thankful.
