"Well I am glad...It is the least that I could do" she looked on impishly "Maybe if your good I might let you give me a massage" she joked.

Turning her attention back to the task at hand as her hands moulded to every muscle on his back as she let her hands drift between every curve and crevice.

He let his mind fall silent as he focused on her hands. So small, so delicate, but so much strength hidden there. He followed with his mind as her hands moved along every inch of his back, grinning when she would run her fingertips over and area a few extra times. He sighed at her suggestion.

"We might go there someday, but my massages sometimes lead to other things, Brianna. We would have to talk before hand to set ground rules"

He chuckled as she hit a ticklish spot, then tried to relax again.

Brianna instantly stopped when she heard his last remark.

"Talk? Ground rules? Sounds more like a test to me" she joked.

But started again as her hands rest on the base of his back as she heard him giggle.

Her touch was starting to feel too good, and he knew it. He slowly moved, sitting up and pulling his shirt back on. He coughed, wincing, as he looked back at the lake and tried to keep his voice from betraying him.

"Thank you, That'll do for now, I think."

He turned back to look at her, smiling.

"You do have some talent in your hands. With some practice, you could be quite good."

Moving to sit back on the dock as she turned away until he was fully dressed as she did not want him to see that she was watching his every move.

"Maybe one day you could teach me how to improve my skills" she grinned as she looked on sweetly.

Turning to look at the lake as the moon reflected on the rippling water.

He grinned at her suggestion.

"That sounds like a fun idea for the future. How are things otherwise at the house since I left?"

"Well Bill is one door down since Jessica threw me through it. She ruined my favourite dress and I had a shard of door impaled in my leg....So it could have been worse, but I will live. But Bill does not know, yet. She promised me that she would not tell Bill but she might do now. So if she does then this will more than likely be the last time that I get to see you" she whispered hating that idea.

Maybe she should have controlled her temper better and not have been so nasty to her then Jessica would keep her mouth shut.

He thought for a minute about what he knew of Jessica.

"No...she would not tell him, not unless she wants him to know she has been there. From what you described, she was not exactly making her presence known, am I right? If you keep her secret, she will keep yours."

"Maybe...But she was really mad at me. She said that you were using me to get back at her. Then she attacked me and I didn't know how to defend myself, she is a lot stronger than I am" she admitted.

Turning her attention back to Quinn as she smiled.

"She might want you back and then we would have to stop being friends...because I like you and you make me feel like a person. Not just some mistake because her Maker was crazy" she spoke saddened by that thought.

".....so she attacked you...and in return you attacked me....makes perfect sense."

He laughed.

"To put it simply, there is about as much chance of us getting back together as you sprouting wings and flying to the moon. When she slept with her new toy, she betrayed me . I give no one the chance to do that a second time. My friendship with you means more to be than a chance to rekindle an old flame with someone I cannot trust."

"Our friendship means more to you than Jessica?" she repeated his words.

She didn't know what to say to that, it made her grin become infectious and permanent of her face.

"And is that all you want from me?" she asked curiously.

"Our connection and friendship is more important than a shattered trust."

He thought for a moment, looking into her eyes.

"What I want from you for the moment is your friendship. If it grows into more, then we will look to that future when it is time. I told you before that I wanted to do things the right way. I mean it. That means taking things slowly and just waiting to see how things develop. No expectations, no rushing."

"No expectations?" she repeated his exact words.

She did not know whether it was because of the anger that was still present in her or if it was because he had explained the whole Jessica thing to her and she was able to except it. But she felt a little braver than she had done in their previous meetings. Remembering her speed as she sped from sitting on the dock as she pinned him down so that he was lying on his back on the dock as she straddled his waist.

"So then I guess this is a little unexpected" she grinned, as her hands rested on his chest.

He smirked up at her, leaning up and kissing the tip of her nose playfully.

"Unexpected but not unwelcome."

Hearing his words only made her smile even more. Leaning down so that she could gaze softly into his eyes as she captured his lips with her own, only this time she did not pull away she remained there. Her hands still spread across his chest to balance herself knowing that he was still in a bit of pain from her attack.

Feeling her lips on his own, he smiled into the kiss, enjoying the feeling of someone enjoying it as much has he was. Her cool hands on his chest provided a vital contrast to the heat of his own skin. He let his mind go, simply enjoying the moment. He let his hands slip down to hold her hips.

Her hands could feel the warmth of his skin through his shirt warming her own hands to the touch. Leaning forward on her hands so that her lips could remain attached to his as the warmth from her hands began to spread and creep through her arms and slowly spreading to every limb.

Feeling her body relax, he smiled and rolled, putting her on her back under him. He leaned in close, kissing her slowly, sensually. As he pulled back a moment, he smirked.

"So much for taking things slowly."

He leaned in, letting her hands decide how far from her he stayed.

Her hair was sprawled across her shoulders as she felt the sudden change as she was now beneath him.

"Well we are....We are testing the waters" she grinned giving him cause for her actions.

Gazing up at him as she let her hand trace the side of his cheek gently with her fingertips, across his lips and down the side of his neck.

"Well we are....We are testing the waters"

He grinned, leaning in to kiss her again.

"So how are you finding the waters?"

"They are very warm....very warm" she grinned batting her eyelashes innocently.

She continued to gaze up at him as she lay on her back with Quinn still lingering above her.

"....Maybe if Jessica does not tell Bill about our friendship that I could come by your place next time. I would like to get to know you better" she suggested.

He smiled at her words. Climbing to his feet, he pulled her up to hers as well, kissing her softly, holding her face gently.

"I think that would be nice. You would be able to meet Arabella as well if you did that."

He kissed her again and grinned.

Feeling Quinn steady her as she was pulled to her feet as she felt his lips on hers once again.

"I would like that very much, who knows we might even become friends. If she likes me because I am well....friends with her father?" she frowned not really sure what to call him.

"I am sure you and she will get along famously, Brianna. As for what we are....why label it?"

He grinned as he looked into her eyes.

Shrugging to his last remark as she did not even know what they were.

"I guess it is just normal I guess to have a label, so our label is friends I guess" she shrugged again unsure.
