Just got worse Empty Just got worse

He laid out the shot glasses on the bar and gave Jane just what she requested. If his bar was going down, he'd at least make some money on the alcohol just sitting on the shelf. He looked around the almost empty room and shook his head. Something had to give. He'd received a few calls from local establishments to make an offer on the bar. It was like it had been a newsflash: SAM MERLOTTE CAN'T MAKE MONEY; NO BUSINESS! Wiping down the bar as he listened to the news. His head snapped up at the voice of the female reporter. "Witnesses say Steve Newlin came in and had been acting strange. Steve was scheduled to make a statement about the video showing himself and the notorious Russell Edginton's murder spree through the Greek alpha house. Twenty three reported dead that night. Russell Edgington is the famously known vampire who killed an anchor on air live, and threatened all humans everywhere. But there seems to be more than just vampires in our world. Steve then became ill and suddenly....it was a woman!" She continued to air the footage of Luna shifting on national tv, with the scrolling text: 'Have you seen this woman?' At the bottom. He groaned and continued to watch, thinking. 'No, no no not this....not now.' "We have been searching for the woman, interviewing witnesses on scene. Our researchers have looked into possible theories of what caused the phenomenon. Something called "Shape-shifters" by local lore. More on this at ten, James back to you."

He could not believe this was happening. Now of all times....of all places. Jane sitting sloppily on the barstool as she looked over with a smile. "I reckon-ize hurrr...she wass wiff yew that nyte! Ruma...yes Ruma...." Sam just stared at her and turned for his office. As he passed the kitchen hutch, where Lafayette stood drinking god knows what he said. -Make sure she gets out of here at closing.- Slamming his door as he paced his room, thinking of what to do....now not only did he have to save his bar, but he had to save the woman he loved as well. Oh, things just got better.
