Let the party begin!

He headed down the steps, his right hand man Victor by his side. All the socialites and powerful vampires he had invited waited for the announcement of the opening of the festivities. There was a symbolic red tape in front of the main entrance to the playing room as well as a pair of gold oversized scissors. Things had to appear normal for the humans who he had invited as well; investors he planned on glamouring out of their fortunes.

The other vampire royalty was here to witness the power of Felipe, not to mention take advantage of the special delights he had imported just for such an occasion. As he made his way to the final step the music was turned down and everyone turned their eyes on Felipe. Dressed to kill in an impeccable tuxedo, flanked by Victor and two voluptuous women he looked every bit the boss he should.

Victor followed Felipe down the steps. Dressed in his own suit his mind was not on the grandeur of his king’s party. Oh no, his mind right now was plotting wicked things for a few select guests. First he had the were Kiara to trap, and since he already knew Mr. Compton was somewhat romantically involved with her, he too would have to be incapacitated while he worked. Second was Sherriff Northman and his party. Thanks to the humans he employed he already knew where he was staying, not to mention the company he had brought; two vampires of his line and what seemed to be a human lover. However due to her looks and her attitude towards Northman he was inclined to believe this could be the infamous fae waitress that had also been involved with Mr Compton and had rescued him from the hands of Russell Edgington. If that was the case then Mr Northman and company would have to be distracted while Victor captured and interrogated that woman. She would prove to be valuable asset to his king in his subtle takeover of the Louisiana territory.

As Felipe spoke and greeted the guests Victor made a subtle sign to another vampire in the distance. Already the drug of choice was selected; pure fae blood. To think that Miss Griffen had access to such rarities was now coming in quite handy.

He made his way around some of the guests, shaking hands and laughing politely on his way to the red tape. He was handed the pair of scissors.

“There is an old Chinese story. A village held a great treasure, so great they feared others would steal it. So they placed their treasure in a cave and placed a dragon at the mouth of the cave to guard the treasure. So great was the fear and greed of the village that they fed and fed the dragon, to ensure he would stay. The dragon grew so big that it became stuck in the cave, and the treasure was forever lost. Now I have found that treasure and released the dragon, and I hope all of you find a piece of that treasure to call your own” he said before he cut the red tape.

The crowd erupted in cheers and claps and as he handed the scissors to an employee the vampires and humans made their way down to the gaming tables. Felipe grinned. All of the chips were of 5 thousand up to one million. There would be no lightweights in his casino and already he could feel the sensation of making millions. As they said, the house ALWAYS wins, even more so when all the employees were vampires and unable to be glamoured. The humans were in for a rough night but the true gamers, the vampires, will either find the pot of gold, or go home quite poor.

As soon as Felipe opened the gaming area and everyone began to mingle he left to check on the drinks. He had special employees already spiking the drinks, they would be assigned to the parties he needed under the influence. With so much fae blood mixed in with the synthetic blood they wouldn’t know what hit them until it was too late.
He pulled out of his pocket two vials filled with a strange silvery powder. He personally poured it into two empty glasses. The silver power would infuse with the glass and these glasses will be the ones that Miss Griffen and Miss Stackhouse will be drinking out off. He also placed the powder in two more glasses of different shapes so the women wouldn’t get too suspicious. He left strict orders to his humans, and glamouring others to ensure his plan will go on flawlessly.
