Bill Compton revelled in many things as a vampire and of course there was certain things that he wished he could avoid, but the human media press was not one of them. He had been diverting calls the moment that he had risen for the night. With Dexter taking his usual one night off a month to conduct his own personal human business. The last thing he needed right now was to have the media press on his back whilst he and Merlotte worked through their plan. But for the last few days Bill had been finding it difficult to get a hold of him. He never answered his cell or voice-mails which Bill had left plenty off. He did not have the time to go around chasing the Shifter, there was things that he needed to attend to.
After delivering the blood to Jessica and James and promised that he would try to source some more but it was going to take time. Sitting in his office sipping slowly on his bottled blood that he had received from Queen Constance of Italy he scanned the headlines of the local newspaper.
Both Tyrone and Jennifer were now dead. The two oldest vampires in his territories gone. They were what he needed to help spread the word around about this new plan that was possibly coming into action. With so many younger vampires in his territory he was going to have trouble gaining the trust of the vampires. Deflecting another call from his desk phone, he pinched the bridge of his nose sighing. Pulling out his cell he hit dial to connect him to Merlotte - voice mail.
"Merlotte. When you get this....Arrange everything...The plan will go ahead. You will have any resource that you require" he hesitated for a moment before ending the call.
This plan needed to work, it had too, there was no other choice. The fate of vampires were at risk and those he cared about.
This had to work.
It was time to go ahead with the plan.
