It had been a few days since he'd seen Luna. They were taking things slow, starting with a clean slate but had yet to talk about everything. She went back to teaching and the bar needed some TLC from his few days of not being...himself. Slow...he had to give her time. She was still holding back on what happened while she was him but he respected her wishes to give her time and space. He just wanted his family back, and if that was what made her happy and got her back in his life then he'd do it.
The soup kitchen was able to strike a deal with Merlotte's about food distribution. He was giving back to the community he loved so much. It was the residents of Bon Temp that helped him to become established and he took pride in that name. There had been talk among the supernatural community about "coming out" but he didn't take it seriously...at least he hoped not. No one knew what he was and he liked it that way. The way everyone reacted to vampires gave him cause to want to stay secret. It would only ruin him and who knew what else.
"Another one Sam?" Andy requested another beer and he slid one over.
-Long day, Andy?- Andy nodded and took a swig of his beer, fiddling with a peanut shell in his hands. -Wanna talk about it?- He shook his head and continued to drink his beer.
Sam grinned and wiped the bar down before looking up and seeing the customers enjoying themselves. Things seemed to be quiet and...normal. But for how long?
