    It Was Nothing More Than a Dream Empty It Was Nothing More Than a Dream

    "Have you seen this girl?.......Have you seen this girl...........Have you seen this girl?" Hoyt asked as he showed the picture of Amy to several people in Shreveport.

    Hoyt Fortenberry was having no luck...again. He had spent two days looking for Amy, he had plastered images of her across the town, he had even been to the police station looking for any information. But they had brushed them off like yesterdays newspaper; no one cared for another missing girl, it would have been down to the vampires. Another victim to them, some fang-banging whore he heard them mutter.

    But that wasn't true, Amy was not like that. It had been six months into their relationship before they had even slept together. Besides she would never go near vampires because of what she was, she was like their own version of crack according to Amy.

    "Have you seen this girl?.......Have you seen this girl...........Have you seen this girl?"

    He showed another group of bystanders who were shopping in Wal-Mart the place that she was last seen, but nothing. No one cared, it had been several years now and no one cared, no one wanted to know about her.

    "Have you seen this girl?.......Have you seen this girl...........Have you seen this girl?".....Please help me

    Hoyt carried on speaking to everyone he came across, hoping that someone would have seen her, knew where she was. But still nothing. Hoyt slumped against a brick wall, flyers in hand.

    He had too find her.

    He closed his eyes, for a moment forgetting about everything.

    ~ Back in 2013 ~

    Hoyt stretched his arms above his head, his muscles flexing in his arms....as he remembered that Amy was missing. He shot up straight from the bed as he felt someone stir next too him....it was Amy; asleep.

    It was nothing more than a dream;

    A nightmare.
