    The Fight. Empty The Fight.

Kiara spun around with a growl. She was surrounded by 8 very young, very stupid baby vamps. They all stared at her like she was the last steak at the kennel. Something about their scent seemed oddly familiar. It reminded her of Jessica in a sense. That irrevocable touch of Bill she held due to being his progeny.

Her head was throbbing. The V wasn't helping at all and it made it very hard to focus on anything at the moment. One of the baby vamps lunged at her and she dodged him, kicking him aside with her silver heeled boots. Thank goodness some habits died hard and carrying silver was one of them. After Eric's dire warning she had made sure she wore her boots with the solid silver heels, as well as her special belly ring with the silver cord, and a silver necklace. One could never be too careful after all.

Two more vampires lunged at her. One bit her wrist but she fended him off with her other arm. Another tried to bite her shoulder but missed. These vamps reminded her of V high wolves. They were still riding the high of the power and not really focusing. They saw her as a big blood bag, not as someone who could fight back.  She pulled on her belly ring, unwinding several feet of silver cord and began to hack away at the vampires. A task made more difficult by the headache now turn painful migraine that blinded her.

Those precious seconds cost her as two vampires latched to her shoulders, weighing her down and drinking her blood like it was going out of style. She let out a growl and shook them off, tearing chunks off her flesh in the process. She was bleeding profusely but she used the silver cord to behead two of the vampires. Seeing their two siblings of sorts become goo made the vampires pause. Well all except the two who had drunk her blood. Those looked like they had enjoyed her too much and wanted more. Using  their new found vamp speed they all rushed her at once. With her heels and the silver around her neck they were slowed down but not stopped.

The migraine was getting worse. She was seeing little lights pop before her eyes and the pain was throbbing at the front of her head. Her slower responses cost her dearly as the vampires latched onto whatever exposed part of her skin they could find; her arms, her stomach, her shoulders her ankles. Like superhuman tics they sucked greedily on her blood. She roared and shook them off, staking two with the heels of her shoes, but they kept on coming, fueled by her blood.  She stood, feeling a wave of dizziness due to the now lack of blood in her body and her still open bleeding wounds.

"Just four more..." she told herself. SURELY she could take out 4 newly turned vampires. She was a wolf dammit!

The remaining vampires came back to her, snapping with hungry fanged jaws. She kicked two back with her bloody silver boots, using the silver cord to restrain the necks of two more. In the process of trying to behead them with very little strength on her part they latched onto her wrists. She hissed but kept on pulling until their heads parted ways with their body, leaving a pile of goo.

The remaining two vampires jumped away from the goo but she went after them. Using the silver cord she grabbed one by the neck, the silver burning into his lower jaw. She dragged him over, using him as a shield against the remaining vampire. She could see her wrists were now fountains of blood. She had a few minutes left. She could hear the wail of a siren in the distance. Someone must have called the cops. She was making a mess in the suburbs after all. The other vampire was getting frustrated. It kept biting its comrade and not her. The vampire in her grasp was in agony from the silver. She flung the vampire against the other and they both tumbled almost comically to the ground.

She pounced on them just as the cops pulled up. With her heels she staked them both, avoiding the explosion of gore. She stumbled back as the cops raised their weapons and asked her to put her hands up. Her head felt fuzzy and heavy, her body cold and as much as she wanted to comply she couldn't. Instead she fell painfully on her knees, then face first in the dirt.
