Trouble times four

-He sighed and walked into the nursery of the Bellefleur mansion with one eye half open and the other shut. Barely having any sleep in the past four months. When one would stop crying, another would take its place. At the urgency of his grandmother he hired a nanny to help him. Every time he looked at Caroline, she'd remind him with her eyes that he was a disappointment having children with some woman who just ran off on him. Like it was his fault. He'd about had it with supernatural beings, all of 'em. Holly wouldn't return his calls and every time he'd pass by her house she wouldn't answer. The only time she would look at him was at Merlotte's.-

-After work he drove over to Merlotte's determined to talk to her, to make her see and understand he didn't want any of this. He slept with a stranger in the woods with a finger that lit up like a light bulb. A month later she was on Sam Merlotte's pool table having babies and sounding like a porn star. Seeing her making a pitcher of tea he tapped her shoulder and motioned his head to the hall way for some privacy with a pleading look.-

"Listen, I know what you're thinking...I just need you to know I didn't want this, I didn't even know she was pregnant until a few days before she had 'em. Holly you got to believe me. I miss you...."

-She wasn't having any of it, shaking her head with a disappointed glare.-

"Andy, just save it. You have four responsibilities now and I don't know if I can fit in there. I mean, you're gonna be pretty busy raisin' four babies. Sorry Andy, I have to work."

-He grumbled and hit the wall, sleep deprived and angry not a good combination.-

"Damn it Holly, will you just listen!"

-She looked over her shoulder.-

"Not to a man yelling at me like that. I deserve better Andy Bellefleur."

-Walking into the back room and slamming my tray on the little table, I get a look from Lafayette in the kitchen and a startled glance from one of the other waitresses.-

"The nerve of that man, thinking I'm just gonna stand here and raise his babies like some sort of super momma. I got my boys and my life too."

-And holy hell, he slept with that woman-fairy of his own free will. Why the hell should I let him walk all over me like some sort of doormat. I shake my head , brush a hand over my hair and grab my tray while trying to plaster back on the good mood I had been in til he decided to try to beg for my attentions again with that nasty mood on.-

-Returning to the bar, I grab the plate on the window and the beer off the waitin pad and drop it almost unceremoniously on his table.-

"Here ya go. When you've got yourself in a bit less of a sour mood and are ready to treat me more like a lady and less like some sort o perp, you know where to find me."

-I turn to stalk off and check on the rest of my tables as I hear him mumble at my back-

"But Holly, I wasn't trying to, I just want to to see my side of things and..."

-He trailed off as I shot him another look over my shoulder and picked up the empties from a table where a couple of new faces had left me a tiny tip after hurriedly finishing their drinks while Andy was trying to convince me he was as much a victim in the mess he was in as I am.-

"I just don't get that man."
