Hoyt had not seen Amy in three days now, he had called her but she explained that she was busy with her brother arranging things. He hated to be away from her, he hated not being close to her. He couldn't understand why he was acting like this; like a lost lovesick puppy. He had put it all down to clearing thing up with Jessica, he had not seen her around the bar recently as he had been going there in an evening with his momma; Maxine Fortenberry.
His momma asking questions about her, trying to pry information out of him about if she was good enough for him, making comments about her saying that she was not good enough for him; she was too skinny, too short, her skin was too pale. She had been dropping hints about Summer, that she was perfect for him and that she had been asking about him. But he didn't want Summer, he wanted Amy.
He wanted to let Amy know that she was special to him.
~Flower Shop~
Upon entering the shop, he wanted to let Amy know he loved her, after selecting a wild selection of flowers of various types, he headed to the counter to have them arranged and wrote out a note on a small card.
'Always....Love Hoyt x' he wrote out.
He handed the card to the cashier and wrote out the address for them and asked for them to be delivered to her apartment today. He wanted to surprise her, let her know that he was always thinking of her.
He couldn't wait to see her again.
