His hand had began trailing across her thigh in circles creating unseen patterns with his finger.

She chuckled, moving her hand up to cup his head so they were both facing each other. "I'm happy Bill... you have no idea how happy you've made me today" she whispered, placing a small sweet kiss on the tip of his nose.

"I don't know what our future holds... but we'll take it one day at a time"

"I believe that it is the other way around sweetheart" he grinned.

Wrapping his hand around hers as he raised it to his lips leaving a soft kiss on the top of her hand.

"One day at a time. That is all we need" he assured her.
