Dinner gone Wrong Empty Dinner gone Wrong

Post by Nora Gainsborough Mon May 13, 2013 8:59 am

Working her bar-tending shift at Fangtasia, Nora could feel a heaviness come over her as she thought about how far she had gone in her life to the point that she was at currently. How is it that one goes for being a member of the highest vampire power in the world to being a lowly brother at her brother’s nightclub? Gritting her teeth, she finished serving the last few stragglers at the club and turned to go to the back room.

Turning back, a young man caught her attention and she could feel her hunger beginning to gnaw at her. Walking towards the man with a slight smirk on her face, Nora allowed herself to feign being charmed by his pathetic advances. He invited her to “get lost” with him and Nora thought to herself that he would definitely be lost as soon as she was through with him. Not wanting to risk feeding on the premises and dealing with Pam’s sarcasm, she followed the man as he suggested they go to the darkened woods that were nearby.

Once getting to a safe distance from anything and anyone that could possibly hear the man if he decided to call out for help, Nora pushed her young victim into a nearby tree and bit roughly into his throat; her eyes closing as his thick blood, sweetened slightly by his fear, flowed freely into her waiting mouth and down her throat. Nora, like many vampires, got lost in the feed and was not aware of movement behind her.

White hot pain shot through her as she felt the silver chain pulled across her neck, pulling the man from her grip. She hissed and growled against the burning in her skin as she saw the head of Bill’s security coming toward her, a pair of silver shackles in his hands as the rest of the detail kept guns, loaded with wooden bullets containing a silver core, aimed at her heart.

Normally, Nora would have fought and been happy to take the risk at meeting the True Death, however, her promise to Godric rang in her mind; to stay with Eric so that they could meet whatever new evil was coming for them all. This one thought kept her fairly complaisant as she felt a slight pinch in her neck and the deep burning sensation, spreading throughout her body, caused her to grit her teeth and growl through the pain before darkness, mercifully, washed over her.
