A Better Time

He continued to rock against her hips as his lips continued to pull at the wound on her neck, blood continuing to fill his mouth, as though it were setting out a fire deep within himself. She was still nestled in the cream silk sheets, clutching a pillow to her bare chest, her hair messy and her legs mostly bare as the sun set on their lengthy flight and they were about an hour away from landing.

~ Just Before Sunrise ~

He hated to leave her, to leave her all alone in the bed by herself. This would be one of the only disadvantages of a vampire relationship. He could feel the sun begin to pull him into her slumber when he raised from the bed, pulling back on his pants and running his hand through his messy bed hair. He leaned over to kiss her cheek before he retired for the day.

~ An Hour Before Landing ~

Bill had retreated to his travel coffin that Anubis had provided for him, located in a corner of the bedroom that he had shared with Kiara the night before he had to leave. The sun was not far of setting just yet and as he felt like he would need all his energy, he made the conscious decision to remain in the travel coffin for that bit longer.

Kiara groaned. Something told her to wake. Slowly she opened her heavy eyes. She looked around. The inside of the luxury cabin was dim. She noticed she was alone but a quick cursory glance around showed the travel coffin a few feet from the bed. She smiled, knowing Bill was there.

Letting out a long yawn she rubbed her eyes. She checked a small screen that tracked their process in the sky. The ETA for landing was just shy of an hour. With that in mind she slowly got out of bed, finding a robe on a hook by the bed. She headed towards the bathroom, taking a second to admire just how big and luxurious it was despite it being in a plane. She brushed her teeth first before heading into the shower. The water was nice and cool and it soothed her.

Once she was all clean she stepped out, wearing the same robe as she exited. She called one of the stewardess, requesting some royal blood be ready as well as some food for herself before she went back to sitting on the bed, turning on the tv to kill the few minutes left before landing.

Bill could hear the sound of the water splashing hard against the tiled wall. And the sound of her moan as what he assumed to be hot water caress against her silky smooth skin, images flashed through his head as of what they had done not hours ago, he could feel himself become slightly aroused once again, but pushed it to the back of his mind. They were nearing to their destination as the next part in his surprises would take place. The mutters of the TV could now be heard, as he tried to pinpoint what it was she was now watching. Bill reached for the lock on the inside of the coffin to let himself out. Raising the coffin he sat up and saw Kiara sat on the bed.

Kiara was leaning against some pillows, one leg fully exposed from the opening of her robe, the top of her robe dipping teasingly low, exposing the top of her breasts. She was just checking the news, looking mildly bored.

Her eyes perked up when Bill emerged. She smiled, her damp messy hair and au naturel look without any effort to make herself look like a professional still held a wild allure natural to the wolf species.

"Well good afternoon your Majesty" she said softly, turning down the tv.

Bill stood from the travel coffin, stepping out of the coffin and closing it behind him. He stood firmly and glanced out of the small window to see that it was just after dark, but the sky was still lit with shades of bright orange and red. He walked over towards the bed and sat down next to Kiara, he raised her hand to his lips and kissed it gently.

"Good evening Sweetheart. Have you had a good day?"

Bill turned to smile at her, a large grin that crossed his face.

She smiled "Lets see...I was whisked away by a handsome vampire, pampered in luxury then ravished by said vampire for several hours before spending several hours asleep and reaming of him. So yes...I do believe I've had a wonderful day" she said as she scooted over closer to him.

"And yourself? was your rest peaceful?"

He grinned as he turned to glance out of the small jet window and could see that their destination was coming into sight.

"Very peaceful sweetheart" he said winking at her.

"This is your captain speaking. Please be seated as we make our final descent. Thank you"

The captain had given us out Que to make our way to our seats. Bill sped to a closet in the room and pulled out a black shirt and slid it across his arms, leaving a few buttons open from the top. Whipping on his a pair of black shoes as he turned to watch Kiara dressing herself.

Kiara took a bit longer to dress. Having rummaged through the carry-on bag she was given she put on a pair of loose shorts and a t-shirt, not minding in the least being naked before Bill.

Once she was dressed she took her seat, remaining barefoot and casual. After Bill took his seat the jet calmly landed on a narrow landing strip on the island. She could already see lots of palm trees and a long stretch of beach that just beckoned to be explored. The main door was opened and the flight crew graciously saw them outside. Already their bags were being brought out and placed inside a large golf cart of sorts that would take them to the main and only house on the island.

House was an understatement since like all that Bill did it was more of a mansion. She could see and smell the gardens, an open grassy area, and what seemed to be even small woods behind the manor. Once they were at the main gate the baggage was brought in and the crew bowed to Bill.

The inside of the house, or at least the inside of the main part was opulent. Decorated richly, all windows sporting that special sun protection shields that would serve Bill during the day.

"Goodness Bill, we should come here more often if this is your idea of a vacation" she said with a chuckle.

Bill could already smell the sea salt that had a very strong pungent smell that he had always found calming to his nerves. It had been too long since he had visited here, as he had never had the chance to have free time to take some time for his own personal relaxation.

The gold cart trudged along the drive way to their living quarters for the next few days that would become their home. For a chance to enjoy the ambiance and to enjoy each other's company as they enjoyed this much needed break.

He watched as Kiara's eyes continued to light up as her eyes explored the decoration of the house, it had been decorated to the Queen Sophie Ann's tastes, which he found elaborate for his own tastes, but he would let Kiara decide on the new decoration when they visited again.

"This is only the tip of the vacation sweetheart. Normally I would have jetted you to any place you would have wanted. But that will be the next trip that we both take when things have calmed down...But i thought you could do with this vacation"

He grinned as he instructed his guards to take their luggage up the grand staircase to the bedroom.

She smiled, leaning in and kissed his cheek. "Well...I think it's wonderful" she said as their luggage was taken up to the bedroom. She began to explore, finding a luxurious kitchen, a den, an indoor and outdoor pool, an entertainment room with a tv the size of the wall and the upstairs was grand as well. Aside from the master bedroom and luxurious master bathroom there was a small gym room, an office which doubled as a library and a small spa room.

She let out a soft whistle as all their things were unpacked before the crew asked if Bill required anything else. She meanwhile was in the master bedroom, looking out the large balcony that overlooked the sea. The sound of the crashing waves was calming and the smell of the sea made her shiver. She couldn't help but giddily jump on the large raised bed, bouncing a bit as she rolled around the soft silk sheets, clutching one of several crimson colored pillows.

He began taking her through every room in the house, showing her the pools, the kitchen that was fully stocked with all of her favorite foods and liquids, the entertainment room.

As the guards bowed as they vacated the master bedroom which was much bigger that his own back in Bon Temps, it was rather luxurious compared to that.

She seemed so excited as she bounced and rolled around on the bed, like watching a child on Christmas morning. He was only happy to see her reaction.

He walked slowly towards the bed and leaned against one of the large pillars and continued to watch on.

"This is all for you. By the time we return to Bon Temps this will all be yours"

He hoped that she would not be overwhelmed by it all, after all it was such a large gift to give.

She stopped, looking at him with wide eyes. "Wait... did you say... all of this.. was mine?" she asked, making sure she hadn't heard something different. Part of her wanted to argue that it was just too much, that this was his home and it shouldn't just be given away but then she stopped.

She didn't want to damper the mood since this was their first vacation and she just wanted them to be happy. She smiled and reached with her hand, touching his hand.

"I'm touched Bill...thank you" she said softly, her hair a tad messy from rolling around playfully. She scooted over and stood, the bed a mess after her play.

"As soon as you sign the paperwork that i have in my home office, then yes. This will all be yours. Jessica has another one of my personal homes. But as you understand, i can't divulge that information just yet as I have work still being done to the property"

He smiled as she now stood before him, his hair a little messy from her rolling around on the bed.

"This island holds many secrets, some to which you will discover over time as you come to know the island. It was designed by Sophie Ann, as we know how suspicious that she could be"

He leaned into kiss her forehead softly.

"Over there is a very large walk in wardrobe that is fit for a queen *he pointed to a large set of double doors next to the master bathroom* And over there is the balcony. If you watch at sunrise, I heard that you mean hear the dolphins by the shore. I have been told its quite relaxing"

She nodded, smiling softly before she shook her head. "I rather watch the moonrise with you than the sunrise alone" she whispered as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

"Perhaps we should go exploring then... if theres much to find around here" she said softly, tucking her head under his chin and smiling.

He nodded and wrapped his arm around her tiny waist, his face inches from hers's.

"Before we do that? How about we get you something to eat? You must be famished"

He took her hand into his and smiled at her.

"Shall we?"

She chuckled. Thankfully her stomach hadn't embarrassed her by growling at any point, but he was right. She hadn't eaten since they'd left Bon Temp almost half a day ago and she was starving.

"Lead the way" she said, taking his hand and interlacing her fingers with his.

He smiled as their hands connected, he began leading her out of the master bedroom, and down the grand staircase towards the large dining room. Opening the large double doors that led into the dining room. The room was dim, but a lit with hundreds of white candles, the illuminating flame beaming of every mirror in the room.

The large table was neatly decorated with bunches of pink and red roses bunched together in an antique vase. The porcelain plates decorated with fine and delicate patterns. Crystal glasses and fine silver utensils.

A large chandelier hung above their heads which were also decorated with much smaller white candles. And just beyond the large wooden table there was a set of large patio doors that opened up on to a small wooden deck than led straight onto the sandy beach, the sounds of the waves as they slid across the soft sand filled the room, which a warm breeze in the air.

He wrapped his arm around her waist and placed a kiss on the top of her head.

"I hope this is not too much sweetheart?"

He but watched as her eyes scanned every inch of the dining room, he could feel the warm breeze flow across her soft skin, and watch as the reflection of the candle flames dance in her eyes as they continued to wander across the room.
